Lab Tour

Shao group is housed on the 4th floor of Biorenewables Research Laboratory, which opened in May 2010, sharing 5000 square feet of laboratory space and office space with Dr. Basil Nikolau (Biochemistry), Dr. Laura Jarboe (Chemical and Biological Engineering), and Dr. Marna Yandeau-Nelson (Genetics, Development and Cell Biology). This building was designed under a new concept of shared space and instrumentation among faculty and scientists having expertise in diverse disciplines to create an interdisciplinary environment for research-based education and training in biorenewable energy and chemicals.
